Insta-plot!

So the other half and I were talking about how much we like point and click games, and how we wouldn't mind making one at some point, drawing inspiration from various other games, both classic and recent. One of the most important parts of a point and click game is having a good story.

I was a bit stuck, knowing I wanted to make something, but not knowing what. The best idea I could come up with was a game which started with a run-of-the-mill, completely unoriginal spaceship crash. Beyond that? I didn't know what to do with it.

Enter my other half. In a matter of minutes, he turned the unoriginal spaceship crash into a creative story with an interesting plot and loads of points to expand upon. It's like his brain comes with an insta-plot upgrade that I don't have.

It's awesome. He's awesome. And I'm now uber excited about working with him on this story and making it into something fun in the (hopefully) near future.
